Great hotel in a handy position. Brekky a bit over priced. We had a large room and big bathroom. Our friends who booked at the same time and paid the same, had a room half the size of ours and a small ensuite. Not sure how that happened....lucky us I guess.

The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, the hotel looks a bit tired, but it is clean and in an excellent location, and the dollar value was very good.

Take a step back in time - this hotel is just beautiful and has managed to match history with modern ammenities - although digital TV would be good!We stayed in an executive room which was really spacious and comfortable. As a hotel in the heart of the CBD it's always going to be difficult to have a noise-free night's sleep, although we weren't troubled too much by noise...we weren't there on a Saturday night, so maybe that might be a challenge! Had a fabulous stay, the staff were fantastic and very obliging. Our luggage had been sent to Melbourne instead of Hobart, but it was no effort for staff to bring it to our room just after midnight when it arrived, checking before they did so that it was convenient to deliver it. Breakfast was delicious and always fresh. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel has had a good reputation over time but is looking and feels drab. In addition it was a hot weekend but the air conditioning in the room was less than adequate providing very little relief. Tip - fix air conditioning.

This hotel has dropped its standards during the past 12 months. We have stayed here previously and all was much better. Everything should be refurbished. Analogue tv's, aircon.didn't work, service at bar was nearly non existent.

We stayed over the Christmas and New Year break and choose the hotel primarily due to the location. For a “Grand Mercure” I expected good service and quality. Unfortunately this hotel did not deliver. The executive room was disappointing and outdated. The linen was threadbare, very old tv unit, no internet reception, expensive parking, understaffed and credit card surcharge on all credit cards. For the price paid, it was not worth it. Will not stay at this hotel again or recommend it to anyone. Very disappointed!

This is our second stay at Hadley's and as per the first visit, the service, room standard and restaurant were excellent.Staff were very friendly. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.Hadley location is ideal because it is close to all Hobart attractions

I stayed at the Apartments, they are really great and Functional, much better than a Hotel room as there is Kitchenette, Lounge, Writing Desk & Dining area as well as well appointed bedroom and bathroom/laundry. the other benefits to the hotel is undercover secure parking onsite rather than parking on the street and feeding parking meters, complimentary internetand as I had prepaid my stay I was able to leave the keycards to the table and close the door behind me without having to go through the hassle of checking out.. highly recomment for Business Travel in Hobart

Mercure Hadleys Hobart Hotel - Previously Grand Mercure: 5.0 out of 5 stars "WORK AND PLEASURE"

I travelled for work during the week and stayed in a standard room at the back of the hotel for 4 nights - excellent very comfortable, breakfast great and easy when getting away early. My husband joined me for the weekend and we upgraded to a one bedroom suite (honeymoon suite) This was also excellent, the decor and furniture represented the period of the hotel. Great location to walk out for dinner to a variety of restaurants, both for work and pleasure. Only problem honeymoon suite a little noisy Saturday night as it is in the front of the hotel with a late night bar a few doors up. Overall enjoyed the stay and would recommend.
